Inventor Confidential: A Guide to Profitable Inventing - Warren Tuttle | Meetup
INCA welcomes Mr Warren Tuttle - Author and the President of the United Inventors Association for 12+ years. From working with independent inventors for over 30 years, and the many years of overseeing the Open Innovation program for two major consumer product companies, Warren has learned some critical factors that contribute to inventor success - and he shares them with us, and in his new book - Due out: March 23rd.
Mr Tuttle will review the current state of the "invention industry" - including the goods and the bads. This includes: invention submission companies, to inventor-paid "programs", to Open Innovation programs at major companies, to direct submissions to targeted companies, to for-fee brokers & promoters, to a patent system under pressure from major corporations and lobbyists, to "for %" marketers & promoters.
Warren will share some tips for developing your product with an eye to licensing to a major industry player, and how to package and "pitch" it to get results. He will also give you practical methods you can use to vet and select a reputable "partner" to work with - often a needed asset in a difficult and crowded market.
